The “BISA Iftar and Networking Event” was organized in a cordial atmosphere with the participation of various organizations, entrepreneurs, technologists and policymakers in the ICT sector, at the initiative of the Bangladesh ICT Stakeholders Alliance (BISA).

In my remarks, I emphasized that the ICT sector must serve as a powerful engine of economic transformation—creating high-quality employment, strengthening exports, and empowering the next generation of Bangladeshi innovators. I also proposed the formation of a National ICT Task Force (2026–2031) to help shape a comprehensive ICT policy and called for a dedicated collaborative permanent hub for BISA, BASIS and the country’s other ICT associations to strengthen coordination and innovation.
