A total of 31,283 Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh have reached Saudi Arabia during the first four days of this year’s Hajj travel. Director of the Bangladesh Hajj Office Lokman Hossain said that 78 flights had landed in Jeddah carrying the pilgrims as of 10am today. a total of 78,500 people from Bangladesh have been allowed to perform Hajj this year. Of them, 660 agencies are involved in managing pilgrims under private arrangements, including 30 lead agencies and 630 coordinating agencies.

A total of 31,283 Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh have reached Saudi Arabia during the first four days of this year’s Hajj travel, according to the Bangladesh Hajj Office.
Director of the Hajj Office Lokman Hossain said that by 10am today, 78 flights had landed in Jeddah carrying Bangladeshi pilgrims.
He added that a total of 78,500 Bangladeshis have been allowed to perform Hajj this year. Of them, 660 agencies are managing pilgrims under private arrangements, including 30 lead agencies and 630 coordinating agencies.
According to airline data, 12,814 pilgrims travelled on 31 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 11,334 pilgrims on 29 flights of Saudi Airlines, and 7,135 pilgrims on 18 flights operated by Flynas Airlines.
Officials said the remaining 47,013 pilgrims will reach Saudi Arabia gradually through scheduled flights.
Of the total pilgrims, 4,565 will perform Hajj under government management, while 73,935 will go under private arrangements.
The Hajj office further stated that 78,296 pilgrims have already received visas from the Saudi Arabian Embassy, including 4,419 under government management and 73,877 under private arrangements.
