On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of martyr President Ziaur Rahman, a preparatory discussion meeting was held at the old) DOHS, Dhaka in the capital. The meeting was organized on Tuesday afternoon at the residence of late BNP Secretary General Salam Talukder and initiated by the Nationalist Media Cell.

Dhaka: This afternoon, a preparatory discussion meeting was held at the residence of late BNP Secretary General Salam Talukder at the Banani (old) DOHS, Dhaka in the capital to make the discussion meeting, Milad and Doa-Mahfil a success on the occasion of the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Zia.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Salima Talukder Aruni, Convener-Martyr Zia’s Shaheed Anniversary Celebration Council, in the presence of Nationalist Media Cell and Media Cell (Dhaka 17) Convener AKM Shariful Islam Khan.

In that meeting, various organizational matters of the convening committee, including the venue for the martyrdom anniversary, the topics to be discussed, and the invitation of guests, were discussed in detail. The meeting was moderated by Sheikh Mostafizur Rahman, publisher and editor-in-chief of the daily Results newspaper. At the end of the meeting, AKM Shariful Islam Khan, convener of the Nationalist Media Cell of the meeting, announced a 19-member committee in the martyrdom anniversary celebration committee with Salima Talukder Aruni as the convener, Ariful Islam as the joint convener, and Sheikh Sharif Uddin Mithu as the member secretary.
