News Desk: The third funeral of veteran journalist Aminul Islam Bedur was held today, Wednesday (January 15) at 5 pm at the Jatiya Press Club premises.
This veteran journalist passed away at 5 am on Sunday (January 12) in a hospital in the capital. He was suffering from various ailments related to old age including diabetes and heart problems. He was 85 years old at the time of his death.
Earlier at 1:40 PM in Al Magfirah Mosque Premises, Uttara Sector 3, Janaza was held in the first namaz of veteran journalist late Aminul Islam Bedu Sahib.
Aminul Islam Bedur, a veteran journalist, news editor of the post-independence Bangladesh News Agency and founder and publisher of the much-talked-about weekly, Aminul Islam Bedur, was held at the Channel I premises.
